IMPORTANT UPDATE - COVID-19
Further to the recent advice from the government about Coronavirus, we have made the decision to cancel the remaining 2019/20 matinee concerts. We are sorry to disappoint our friends and audience, however your health and well-being is more important. We thank you for your continued support and understanding. Whit Friday

Despite the coach being over an hour late getting to us, the band still managed to get 8 contests in on the night. Whilst waiting for the coach outside the town hall the band had their picture taken by the Chronicle photographer who spotted us waiting to go.

Thankfully the weather stayed good this year and an enjoyable evening was had by all. The band would like to thank all the guest players who helped out and we couldn't have done it without them. We'd especially like to thank Laurence Owen, who plays for the Band of the Coldstream Guards, for helping on Eb bass and hope he managed to get up in time to get back to London for Trooping the Colour rehearsals at 8.30am on Saturday.
